If you’re looking for ambience and vibes…
Look no further than Cabaret Avignon. It’s an ultra-modern restaurant with large windows that allow for natural lighting to fill the room, so every selfie will be a banger! Apart from being a top spot for quality snaps, the food is also really good (they serve one of the best Jerk Chicken in Lagos and also have great milkshakes). BONUS: It’s an affordable joint.

If you’re looking to ENJOY a hearty meal…
Head straight to Bungalow on the Mainland 🍗 They serve delicious cocktails, good-sized meals and even have a vegetarian-friendly menu. The atmosphere is casual, cosy and large enough for larger groups. You’ll enjoy casual dining at its finest at Bungalow.
If you’re riding solo…
Let’s start off by saying that more people should eat out alone; it’s wonderful 🥰 That being said, Moonshine Cafe is the spot to do ‘alone dining’. It’s pretty to look at both inside and outdoors, the portions are great and the food is quality. There’s a lot to love here.
Location: 7A Admiralty Rd, Lekki Phase I, Lagos

If the diet is not in the mud (yet)…
Enjoy Easter Sunday lunch at Noir 🥗 They pay attention to detail, provide a more interactive dining experience and their menu caters to healthy eaters well. The price point is a bit steep for everyday dining, but for a special occasion like this, why not?!

If you’re looking for a great family spot…
One of the newer spots on the Mainland, Oeuvre Bistro has lovely aesthetics, it’s very cosy with its black, beige and gold decor, and the restaurant literally invites you in. They serve cocktails, small chops, wine, coffee, organic dishes, and also have a kids’ menu — so family dining is a natural option.
(P.S. check out our survival guide for eating out with little children and bookmark that ish!)
If you’re hoping the date will lead somewhere…
We recommend The Wine Lab 🍷 The name is pretty much a tell but The Wine Lab is what you get when a wine bar and a fine dining restaurant walk into a bar. In their words, it’s a “beautifully preserved urban vineyard laced with wild spices, earth, and colours” and also, if we say so ourselves, a great spot to get a little romanticism going.
