EatDrinkFestival is a Cashless Festival. This simply means you don’t pay vendors cash or card directly, instead you load money on to your Festival wristband and tap to pay at the vendors’ stands all throughout the event.

Our Festival is cashless because we’ve got burned by network failure over the years and ended up with hungry guests and grumpy vendors. With our cashless system, uptime is a 100%. In simple English, it never fails.

Seriously, we’ve used it at all our events since we introduced it and we haven’t experienced one payment failure. So yeah, everyone is happy and the lines are super fast because it’s a simple tap and go! Most importantly, you don’t have to drag with anyone for your change.

To take even more stress out of it all, we STRONGLY recommend you get your wristband and add money to it BEFORE the event.

How to get your wristband before the event

Buy your ticket online
Go to Cafe One or Workstation Maryland during the pickup times:

  Timing
  10 am - 4 pm (Monday to Fridays)

Show your ticket to the ticketing agent who will scan your ticket barcode and give you a wristband.

Not to worry, if you get your wristband on the day you can still link it online and fund your wristband online

How to add money to your wristband before the event

In addition to the funding options at the event, we’re happy to share that this year we have an online portal for you to add money to your wristband BEFORE the event. It is available in the EatDrinkFestival app and also here online.

1. Sign up for an account

Pick up your wristband from Cafe One (Lekki) or Workstation (Maryland Mall).

Add some personal details

2. Link your wristband using the top code only

Enter in the top line of alphanumeric characters at the back of your wristband chip.
When in doubt, it’s never the letter “o” and always the number “0”
