EAT

Chef SiÁ’s Roundtable

It’s not everyday you get proper Chef hosting a dinner in Lagos. It’s even rarer when you find one from a Michelin-starred restaurant. And that’s exactly why we’re checking this out this weekend. Chef SiÁ of Ikoyi London is in town and she’s hosting a couple of dinners this weekend. It’s not too late to make a reservation. It’s expensive, but Lagos might not get a Michelin star for the next 5/10 years so it’s worth it.

The Unusual

The chefs at the Lagos branch of the Red Dish culinary school are hosting a three course dinner this Sunday. Menu looks pretty interesting and at N10k, it’s wallet friendly too.

LAGOS

Hans & Rene Games Night

Mrs. B is bringing her famous jollof and board games to Hans & Rene tonight. If you’re looking something chill to do after work today, this is the one.

Feet on Fire

Apparently, we have a very vibrant “salsa community” in Lagos. That’s probably a very terrible description but there’s quite a decent amount in the scene and it’s a proper party. I went salsa dancing once and it was fun, until some guy wanted to “show me” the moves and refused to stop dancing with my date. Maybe you can sit this one out, lads.
