EDL Weekender: Sue's Elixir, Eko Street Eats, and a Picnic

Another Friday is here. Thank God for that. If your week has been an utter shambles like ours, check out of couple things we're planning to do this weekend to cheer us up

EAT: Eko Street Eats

NOSA: I'm so glad ESE is back. Missed the first run because real life got in the way and then they decided to take a long hiatus when I finally had the time. Because Jesus loves me, life has aligned a bit better and I'm definitely not missing this one.

EAT: BBQ Night with Smol Efik Pots @ Workstation

EAT: Vanilla Bake House Pop-up

DRINK: Sue's Elixir @ Backyard

FOLLY: I loved the presentation of the drink. The layering and the big goblet (LOL). I wonder if they used artificial strawberry syrup or made this themselves because it was really tasty

LAGOS: MovieNic

EMEKA: The rains are here, so were pushing for some sunny vibes come Sunday. Don't forget to Bring  a bottle & a blanket!

Secret Cinema has picked "Sister Act" for the movie!

See You There!

BONUS: They Have to Kill Us First

Malian Music in Exile (dir. Johanna Schwartz) is a feature-length documentary folllowing musicians in Mali in the wake of a jihadist takeover and subsequent banning of music. Music, one of the most important forms of communication in Mali, disappeared overnight in 2012 when Islamic extremists groups rose up to capture an area the size of the UK and France combined. But rather than lay down their instruments, Mali’s musicians fought back.
