5 Places That Sell Great Doughnuts In Lagos

It’s National Doughnut Day,(another stolen holiday, as some of us like to famz) and as a very big fan of the doughy snacks, trust me to dedicate an entire post to them. I think doughnuts are very attractive and taste even better if the baker knows what he/she is doing. That being said, this is a shortlist of the places in Lagos that know what they’re doing when it comes to doughnuts.

Who? Coco ribbon

Where? Victoria Island

Remember when I said I find doughnuts attractive? Well, the doughnuts these people make are some of the prettiest I’ve ever seen. Complete with different fillings like chocolate, cream and jam, these are elite and also come in great packaging. You know what? I’m going to order me some right now. It’s National Doughnut Day, my diet can resume tomorrow.

Who? Old English bakery

Where? Ikeja

Located directly opposite The Place in GRA, Old English does not have much in terms of variety, but they make up for that in taste. These doughnuts are great and come in plain and jam-filled. Also, this is a good time to tell y’all that their bread is really good too.

Who? Chocolat Royal

Where? Victoria Island.

Folly swears that the glazed doughnut at Chocolat Royal is nice and I’m inclined to agree because these guys do pastry really well. And they always seem to make the list of any dessert/pastry post I make so they must be doing something right.

Who? Hans and Rene

Where? Victoria Island

I added Hans and Rene to this list because well, their desserts are top-notch. Although I’ve never had their doughnuts, I think they just might be as great as the desserts, even though Folly thinks you can use it to stone a person, LOL! Those who have had it, what do you think?

Who? Krispy Kreme

Where? Ikeja, Victoria Island, Lekki.

Honestly, I wasn’t going to add these people to the list because I think their doughnuts are literally diabetes in a box and taste like spun sugar. Sorry, Maryam, I can’t hide my very strong feelings about these doughnuts. Nope.
