Popsicles by Happy Hours: A Refreshing Treat in Lekki Phase 1

As the Lagos heat intensifies and the economy makes ice cream more of a luxury, I decided to explore a delightful alternative: popsicles! Join me as I visit Popsicles by Happy Hours in Lekki Phase 1, one of their several branches across Lagos.

In this video, I'll be trying a popsicle from each of their three menu sections: fruity, boozy, and creamy. I start with the Strawberry Mango from the fruity section, which turned out to be my favorite. The blend of strawberry and mango flavors was perfect, and the organic nature of the popsicle was evident in the mango threads I could taste with each bite. Plus, it wasn't overly sweet, making it a refreshing treat.

Next, I indulge in the Happy Hours flavor from the creamy section, which features vanilla flavoring, KitKat chocolate, and Oreo cookies. While it was indeed creamy, I found it a bit too sweet for my liking, and I couldn't finish it in one go.

Lastly, I try the Pina Colada from the boozy section, although the "booze" wasn't quite as present as I expected. Unfortunately, this popsicle melted quickly, and I had to resort to using a spoon to enjoy it. Despite the melting mishap, it still tasted delicious.

If you're looking for a refreshing and affordable treat in Lagos, Popsicles by Happy Hours might just be the place for you. Let me know in the comments if you've tried their popsicles or if you plan on visiting soon!
