Hump Day Lunch: Oiza Salad Maestro

I recently came across Oiza Salad Maestro on Instagram. Their enticing ads and visually appealing dishes convinced me to give them a try. For lunch, I decided to order two items from their menu: the Spiced Avo Chicken Sandwich and the Crab Noodle Salad.

In this video, I'll be sharing my honest review of both dishes, discussing the presentation, flavors, and overall experience. Unfortunately, my excitement was short-lived as I encountered several disappointments with my order.

The Spiced Avo Chicken Sandwich arrived soggy, with the wettest tomato falling out as I tried to pick it up. The breaded chicken also looked unappetizing due to its wet appearance. Upon tasting, I found the sandwich to be lacking in flavor, with no discernible taste of chicken, guac, or egg. The bread itself was average, reminiscent of supermarket sliced bread.

Moving on to the Crab Noodle Salad, I had mixed feelings. While I enjoyed the warm salad concept and appreciated the generous portion of crab, the dish fell short in terms of seasoning and overall flavor. Bites without the crab were bland, and I found myself wishing for more crab layered throughout the noodles. The cucumber strips added a nice touch of freshness, but the accompanying lime was dry and lacking in juice.

Despite the disappointments, I remain hopeful and may give Oiza Salad Maestro another chance in the future, perhaps trying one of their regular salads. I believe in giving restaurants a fair opportunity to showcase their best offerings.

It appears Hump Day Lunch Day is on a mid streak. Who will save it?
