We Tried (Nearly) Everything on the Burger King Menu 🍔

We got an invite to Burger King’s grand opening in November 2021, and naturally, I went because who says no to free burgers? Sadly, all they had on the menu that day was the Whopper and fries, which was quite disappointing, because I was so looking forward to trying everything on the menu (I need to add, though, that the burger I had that day became both a blessing and a curse, because now I can’t stop ordering food and my account is in tears).

Anyway, I eventually decided to take matters into my own hands and get my full-menu experience. Again, they didn’t have everything on the menu (especially the King Nuggets and King Wings 😒), but the rest more than made up for it.

Previously, I’d always ordered the Whopper and Steakhouse, but bruh, I had been missing out. The Big King blew me away with its big flavours. It’s a double patty burger with an extra bun in the middle and sesame covered bun on top, and comes with cheese, lettuce, onions and pickles. The short story is it was ah-mazing and I think I’ve found my new favourite, just don’t tell the Whopper!

The Cheeseburger and the Hamburger came and did their thing too. You’d think it would be the regular cheese and beef patty we’re used to, but it was different — cheesy, crunchy deliciousness. They had a 2-for-1 deal on their chicken burgers, so I had that as well, which ticked every box:

✔️Crispy chicken

✔️Fresh veggies

✔️All-round scrumptious

The Whopper and Steakhouse (my OGs) were delightful, as always (the Whopper is 100% beef, so it’s a carnivore’s paradise). My favourite thing about the beef burgers has to be the juicy flame-grilled patties and the veggies, which they manage to keep fresh and crunchy. They also have a King Junior menu for the kids and a Savers Meal where you can get combo deals and save money at the same time.

For the sides, I ordered onion rings, cheesy bites and fries. I asked for everything to be extra crispy, and extra crispy they were. Burger King didn’t hold out on the cheese in the cheesy bites, which I loved! I’ve also always been a fan of the fries, but my new favourite side is the onion rings 🔥 I randomly buy just onion rings from Burger King these days and I’m not sorry.

Fun fact: I open up my burger and add onion rings inside. So delicious, you should definitely try this!

Kinglace Ice Cream

When it came to sweet treats, they had only the caramel and chocolate sundae for dessert which I have no regrets about now because they were delicious, creamy and came in great portions. They also have an ice cream parlour as their neighbour, which is always a plus, right?!

postscript

If what you want is an all-round burger experience, I always recommend Burger King. It’s affordable and they make delicious food. End of.
