Getting to #EatDrinkFestival
Let’s be honest, driving in December in Lagos is always a mess until after Christmas when people tend to calm down until New Year’s Eve and everything scatter again.
Our first piece of advice is don’t drive and take advantage or ride sharing apps particularly Taxify. We’ve partnered with Taxify to give you a whole N2000 off your ride to or from the festival with our code EDFFIVE.* With it, you don’t need to park and walk because the driver can drop you right by the entrance at the pick up/drop off zone.
If you do insist on driving which we do not recommend we have made arrangement for multiple car parks on Providence Street.
We’ve pre paid for parking with some parking lots while the others will be pay per use at N500 per car.
Here’s the parking map below for guidance.
Providence road is a dual carriageway with a median dividing both sides. In normal use, there are multiple U-turns along the road. However, for #EatDrinkFestival for effective traffic management the experts (LASTMA) have advised and will be converting the road into one big loop (like a track field) so that traffic flows seamlessly.
We urge you to comply with all traffic officials and signage so that the entire experience is positive for everyone.
*Please note the Taxify code is valid on card payments only
#EatDrinkFestival presented by Sterling Bank is taking place on Dec. 26-27 at the Lekki Coliseum (14 Providence Street, off Admiralty Way, Lekki Phase 1).
