Remember the guys holding machetes and tying red bandanas from a couple months ago ? Everybody on Twitter still calls Lekki the hood as a result.

FOLLY: The restaurants are Sweet Kiwi, Nuts About Cakes, Cookie Jar, and BLD.

NOSA: Funny how Cookie Jar isn't really a cookie joint like that.

FOLLY: They did start off with cookies. However, now they really just push the cakes which is fair enough, because to the average Nigerian Okin biscuit will always be far more superior to any "white chocolate and macadamia nut" contraption you whip up.

FOLLY: While we're not the biggest fans of BLD on this blog, I'll admit that their roof top terrace is nice (if you can get in) and is a great spot for post works drinks in Lekki, again if you can get in.

NOSA: I'm just going to put it out there: I'm not using my neighborhood kini to go to BLD. No sir, not me.

FOLLY: Just a little heads up Nuts About Cakes is the same thing as Olivia's Cafe, but don't go to the one in Ikoyi - there are no discounts there.

FOLLY: What to order at Olivia's Cafe? Personally, I really like the chicken salad panini.

NOSA: Sweet Kiwi might be the move for me this weekend. Haven't been there in eons and hopefully they have granola this time.
