Is La Taverna Opening Shop in Abuja?

So we spotted a little blind item on Instagram yesterday.

Maybe we're reading too much into "#soontoabuja", but that sounds like a big hint. For context, @chef_duhalde is the head chef + owner at La Taverna.

Abuja would definitely be a big move for La Taverna because they haven't really "conquered" Lagos yet. And business strategy suggests you conquer your first location before moving to another.

Either way, we like the idea. Abuja is super close to Jos and Jos has very fresh produce so it's definitely a good idea. On related note, do Abuja restaurants take advantage of their proximity to Jos? Would be a terrible shame if they didn't.
