#EatDrinkFestival 2.0: All You Need To Know

EatDrinkFestival is Eat.Drink.Lagos' bi-annual food and drink festival. It's a one-day festival that is happening on Sunday 17 July, 2016. The goal of the festival is to create an exciting culinary experience with Lagos' finest food vendors.

To us, the most important experience in a food festival is undoubtedly the food so we've lined up some of our favorites that we're very excited about. We have a bias for 'online restaurants' and chefs without physical locations because we've found that this group is often underrepresented and care a lot about their craft, so festivals like ours present a great opportunity for them to reach a larger audience.

We're also very excited for the sponsors and partners we have on board this year, especially for the ways in which they each plan to elevate the EatDrinkFestival experience. Most noticeably, we've gone blue and are happy to be sharing our festival with PayWithCapture as the title sponsor.

How does the EatDrinkFestival work?
The EatDrinkFestival is free admission. You do not have to buy a ticket or obtain a pass ahead of the event. Once in the venue, you can purchase food and drink directly from a wide variety of vendors. You can see some of the vendors we have lined up here. (And for those of them that have finalized their menus, clicking their logos on that page will show you what you can look forward to from them)

What is PayWithCapture?
PayWithCapture is a mobile payment app that enables individuals to make payment for goods and services by scanning a pre-generated QR-Code. Each festival vendor will have a unique QR-code that you can scan using the app on your phone to pay for your purchase. How simple is that? You can link any Nigerian bank's card (MasterCard, Visa or Verve) as well as Access bank accounts to the app to make payments. So for the best payment experience download the PayWithCapture app (available on iOS, Android and Blackberry) and get ready!
