About 2 years ago (our birthday is this week), we started this blog because we noticed the dining-out culture in Lagos was a bit weak. We took it upon ourselves to be the heroes Lagos needs. The cocktail scene, in particular, left a lot to be desired.
Like, a WHOLE lot.
And so anything that contributes to the culture, we’re down for. With that, we’re super excited to announce that we’re media partners for Lagos Cocktail Week (LCW) 2016. From 10th - 15th October 2016, all participating bars will be offering signature discounted cocktail(s) if you flash them your LCW wristband. More on the wristbands in a minute.
The participating bars are:
There are a couple standout bars in there too. We made a little map to help you guys out.
But it’s not all drink discounts for LCW. The team has a couple more stuff lined up.
October 10: Cocktail Master Class with Enitan Allison - The Wheatbaker Hotel
October 11: Cocktail Master Class with Ronke Sobodu – The Wheatbaker Hotel
October 12: Mixologists Brunch - Liquid Hub in Ikoyi 10am-4pm
October 13: Lagos Cocktail Week Team Bar Hop
October 14: Grand Finale/Bar Battle – The Wheatbaker Hotel, Lagos. 6pm till late
The Bar Battle is definitely one to look forward to, as each of the participating bars is putting forth a bartender for the bar battle and we (Nosa & Folly) get to sit on the panel of judges to determine the winning cocktail and bartender.
